Agnes Fletcher - GCL Associate

Agnes Fletcher has supported the development of single equality schemes and delivered equality impact assessment training covering age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation and human rights.

Before becoming an associate in October 2007, Agnes worked on disability issues for 15 years and was Director of Policy and Communications at the Disability Rights Commission (DRC). While at the DRC, Agnes managed its research, policy and communications functions. She led on research and evaluation, which included focus group work with disabled people and other stakeholders, and several large-scale paper, electronic and telephone surveys, with disabled people, employers, public sector managers and opinion formers.

Agnes also led on employment strategy at the DRC. She has commissioned and written many pieces of guidance on employment and equality issues.
