InterContinental Hotels Group

As disability training consultant to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), GCL worked with IHG to design and develop their disability awareness training programme 'Confidence to Serve All'.
Great customer service skills are paramount in the hotel industry and this training was developed to give employees the confidence to deal with all guests, particularly those with disabilities.
The success of 'Confidence to Serve All' was when IHG received a DTI National Training Award for providing 'Excellent Customer Service for Disabled People'.
Hertfordshire County Council

GCL was commissioned by Hertfordshire County Council to carry out a County wide consultation of those receiving Individual Budgets. This involved carrying out a number of focus groups and informing the policy and practice development in this area.
East of England Development Agency

GCL supported the East of England Development Agency to devise, develop and implement both their Disability Equality and Single Equality Scheme.
GCL worked with the Agency to build a comprehensive regional evidence base and progressive action plan to ensure the promotion of equality was, and is, mainstreamed across the work of the organisation
London Development Agency

GCL has provided inclusion training and consultancy to the London Development Agency for almost four years. GCL provided disability confidence training to its staff and worked with many of LDA's project and commissioning managers to review and revise equality strategies and those of its key suppliers.
GCL are also appointed validators to the London Development Agency's Diversity Works for London Equality Standard
